    Intrigued by the “hoe to season to taste”. I always end up adding something acidic (vinegar, lemon, etc) even if the recipe fails to suggest it! I can’t wait to see what your taste buds require. GREG

    I’ve never tasted a cherimoya. Going to pick some up on my way home tonight.

    Roasting the beets over coals is sheer Heaven. I grew up in Tehran and remember my grandmothers used to get beets from street vendors who roasted them exactly that way. They’d wrap them in newspaper and hand them over. They were better than candy!

      Colette, I just love that. I’m visualizing that street vendor. Would love to have that sort of thing here. (On my street!) Yum!
