Grilled Green Onions are incredibly delicious and the perfect summer side dish. It's so easy to add a handful to the grill while the main course is cooking, and they only take a couple of minutes!
Cut off a couple of inches from the tops, and if any of the scallions are particularly thick, slice them in half, lengthwise.
Toss them with the olive oil on a baking sheet and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Once the grill is very hot, add the scallions and grill each side, just long enough to mark them, about 3 minutes total.
