Tropical Smoothie Recipe

  • 3/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 5 rambutans or lychees peeled and pitted (here's how to peel and pit them)
  • 1 medium-sized ripe banana
  • 1/3 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed ice


  1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender and purée until it's smooth.
  2. Serve!

Recipe Notes

You can also use canned lychee or rambutan -- if you do, drain them from any syrup that they might be canned with, before adding them to the blender.
